Common Questions

Details for Our Guests

What is the dress code?

We suggest smart casual. If you'd like to wear an áo dài and immerse in the culture, come a few days early — Ho Chi Minh City has excellent tailors and we'll happily point you to one. Embrace the occasion with comfortable footwear.

Can I bring my children?

Yes! Most certainly, this will be a family friendly event and plus ones are included. We aim to ensure guests of all ages can fully enjoy the celebration.

How do I get to Gò Công?

We are providing shuttle services from New World Saigon Hotel. Please see the 'Shuttle' section for more details.

Where should I stay?

We have curated a list of recommended accommodations in the STAY Section in close proximity. If you are finding your own accommodation, we recommend somewhere near district 1 in Ho Chi Minh as buses will depart from New World Saigon Hotel.

What time does the celebration end?

The reception is planned to conclude around 20:30. Buses back to New World Saigon Hotel will run from 20:30 to 22:30.

When should I RSVP?

As soon as you can! Please confirm your attendance ASAP through the link in the 'RSVP' section to help us with our final arrangements.

I'm planning a holiday afterwards — where should I go?

If you've never been to Ho Chi Minh City, we strongly urge you to give yourself a few days here. It's a wonderful city with many cuisines and there's plenty to see once you've had your fill. We'll be adding our own recommendations here shortly and a few of our favorite cities, if you're tempted to travel further. So stay tuned!

What's the weather like in Vietnam in December, what should I pack?

December in the Gò Công is dry season, 25–32°C, cooler in the evening — and the venue is open ground, so flat shoes rather than heels are recommended.
